What personalisation means

The Gallery Pet Portrait is created specifically from the customer's selected photograph, pet and frame choice. It is not a standard stock print that can ordinarily be resold to another customer.

The base product includes:

• one dog or cat from one suitable customer photograph;
• the Animelier Editorial Gallery aesthetic;
• an A4 framed portrait in Black or Oak;
• a private digital proof;
• one simple adjustment; and
• a final digital artwork file.

Photograph suitability

A clear face, natural light, sharp eyes and visible markings help produce a faithful result. We may ask for another photograph if the face is blurred, very dark, obscured or too distant. If no suitable photograph is agreed and we cannot perform the order, we will cancel and refund the affected order.

Proof and included adjustment

Nothing is printed until the customer approves the private proof. One focused adjustment is included, for example a reasonable correction to visible tone, crop or a specific identifying detail. A new source photograph, another pet, a new concept or a substantial redesign is outside the included adjustment and may require a new order review.

Change of mind

Because the item is made to the customer's specifications and clearly personalised, the general distance-selling cancellation right usually does not apply. We distinguish change of mind from a product that is faulty, damaged or not as described. Mandatory statutory rights remain unaffected.

Use of photographs and artwork

The customer must be entitled to supply the photograph. We use it to create and fulfil the commissioned portrait. We do not use the photograph or portrait in advertising, social media, a portfolio or model training without a separate, specific permission.
